Introducing the Tanque Verde Pediatrics Patient Portal

What can the portal do for me?

Our portal is a means of 24/7/365 access to many of your child's medical records. You can see growth charts, immunization records, medications and appointments. You can request medication refills, referrals and forms. You can take developmental surveys in advance of your appointment. You can update your contact and insurance information.

Eventually, you will be able to pay bills online as well as see account information.

How do I create an account on the patient portal?

You can access our portal directly by clicking on the access button above.

After getting to the site, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the create account link.
  2. Provide your name and email address on the create account page and click save.
  3. Once you've successfully created and saved your account, you will get email confirmation with a temporary password and instructions on how to change your password and finalize your registration.
  4. Contact our office and let us know that you have registered and that you are ready for your children to be added to your account. All we will need is your email address used to set up the account. Feel free to leave a message after hours with this information, come in to the office for your next appointment and let us know, or give us a call right away!
  5. You will get a final confirmation within minutes that you are ready to start using the portal for all your needs!

Where can I access the portal?

You can access the portal anywhere you have internet access. You can use personal computers, MACs, tablets or your smartphone.


Patient Portal FAQs

Can I print records directly from my home computer?

Yes! You can print immunization records and growth charts directly from home.

Can more than one parent create a patient portal account? (eg. Divorced parents)

Yes! Individual parents or caregivers can each have access to the same children's records, they will just need to create separate accounts.

Is there a cost to use the portal?

No! We want you to have easy access to this information! We will be adding features as we go along, too. So please keep checking in and see what is available.

Is the website secure?

Yes! We have a secure server and web domain to ensure safe access.

How do I change my password?

Once you've initially signed in to the portal, click on the my account tab. You'll see a box named New Password. Type in your new password and you are all set.

Can I use the portal to communicate with my doctor?

No. The portal is not an appropriate means to channel medical questions. Please call our office for a real live person to answer your call – that will be the most efficient means to get your questions answered.

Can I request prescription refills?

If the original prescription was sent from our clinic, we can refill any chronic medications. Just access your child's records under the patient information tab and request your refill. Please leave a pharmacy name and location, so we send it to the right place. Please note that all controlled substances (eg. ADHD meds) need to be picked up in person, but refills can be requested via the portal.
