Dr. Amelia Decker

Dr. Decker was born and raised in Tucson’s Tanque Verde Valley. She earned an undergrad degree with honors in neuroscience from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduation she moved back home to graduate at the top of her class from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Before joining Tanque Verde Pediatrics she completed a 3 year residency in Pediatrics at the University of Arizona. While there she took an interest in community health and advocacy.

During her residency Dr. Decker became involved in the American Academy of Pediatrics and is currently an active national member and on the committee for continuing medical education for our the Arizona state chapter.

When she is not in the office she enjoys traveling or spending time with her family.
