Dr. Amy Montgomery, IBCLC

Dr. Montgomery was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University. She then attended University of Wisconsin medical school. She moved to Tucson to complete her pediatric residency at University of Arizona. Dr Montgomery has been in private practice for general pediatrics since then. She is the most senior member of the Tanque Verde Pediatrics medical team. She is grateful to have seen so many of her patients grow up and even have some come back as parents themselves.

Dr Montgomery is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) to better help families with their breastfeeding goals.

She enjoys reading, running and hiking. She has been married to her husband, Rob since 1994. They have two grown children.
