Lakilia Ahmed is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been providing behavioral health services for over 20 years. She has experience working with numerous populations including children, offenders, families, adolescents and those with severe mental illness. She is a Trauma Informed Professional who takes pride in her ability to work successfully with numerous populations and advocate for mental health treatment.
Lakilia received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Buffalo State College and her Masters in Social Work from Howard University. Lakilia’s specialties include: Severe mental illness, Anxiety Disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), Mood Disorders, Grief & Loss; Adolescents; Mental health advocacy; Crisis Management, Assessment, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Life Changes.
Lakilia’s personal interests include playing and watching sports, attending comedy shows, reading, history, decorating, and traveling. Her nine-year-old daughter Eman, keeps her on the go with a smile!
