Newborn Basics: A Pediatrician-Led Class for Expecting and New Parents
Newborn Basics is a free, in-person class designed to help parents feel confident caring for their newborn. This pediatrician-led session will cover essential newborn care topics, including what to expect in the first weeks of life and when to call your pediatrician. We’ll also provide practical breast and bottle feeding support, with time for questions and discussion.
This class is perfect for expecting parents and is also open to newborn parents.

Our popular Newborn Basics class is now being offered in partnership with the Tucson Jewish Community Center (JCC), allowing us to welcome even more growing families with a larger venue and increased class capacity. We are incredibly grateful to the Tucson JCC for their generosity in providing this space so we can continue offering this class free of charge to our community.
