Nurse Triage Support
Our experienced nurses are here to help you decide when an appointment is needed and guide you on how to care for your child at home until you arrive. Whether it’s a fever, cough, ear pain, or something more concerning, we’re here to help your child feel better fast. Our overnight nurse triage is available to discuss your child’s symptoms and answer questions after hours. This ensures your child receives timely, appropriate care while helping families avoid unnecessary urgent care or ER visits.

What to Expect at a Sick Visit
- Evaluate symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, rash, ear pain, or stomach issues
- Perform a thorough physical exam to determine the cause of illness
- Offer on-site testing when needed, including:
- Rapid strep, flu and/or covid tests
- Same-day lab work for more complex cases
- Provide in-office treatments such as:
- Nebulizer treatments for wheezing or asthma
- Injection antibiotics or steroids when appropriate
- Wound care and minor injury treatment
- EKG for heart rhythm evaluation
- If imaging such as an X-ray or ultrasound is needed, our team can arrange same-day off-site imaging to help get results quickly.
