Miriam McGill
Pediatric Reading Support Services
Born and raised in Germany, Miriam holds dual Master’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Heidelberg. For more than twenty-five years, she has worked with children in the U.S. and abroad. Miriam has provided instruction in Montessori classrooms, public charter schools, international programs, and exceptional student services teams. While in Italy, she taught English and German as second languages and served as an examiner for immigration and visa-related language certifications.

In her role as a Reading Specialist, Miriam has guided hundreds of students toward confident reading by tailoring lessons to their unique needs.
Miriam and her husband, Chris, keep busy raising three teenage boys, two therapy dogs, and a small flock of backyard chickens. In her free time, Miriam enjoys writing books for early readers, designing southwest-inspired wall art, lifting heavy things at the gym, and visiting new Tucson restaurants.

Our nurses will be your first line for all parent-related questions, so we hired only the best! They are a great resource for your family if you have any illness related questions. They also are very qualified at helping with new breast-feeding moms and well child care issues.

Our Office Staff
Our front office staff at Tanque Verde Pediatrics is available to our patients during all office hours to help with appointment scheduling, referrals, medication refills and as your liaisons to the medical staff. They also handle insurance questions and billing issues. Please call with any questions or issues and our staff is ready and willing to help!
