If your infant is using Similac Powdered formulas, please go to similacrecall.com to see if their formula’s lot number is one being recalled.

Do not use any Similac formula you have in your house, until you confirm whether it is part of this recall.

You can also call 1-800-986-8540 for more details.

The risk to your infant is of sepsis or diarrhea from Salmonella or Cronobacter infection. This risk is very small, but not worth continuing a recalled container.

Please use a comparable formula from a different brand, or a non-recalled lot number for your infant. We have heard from parents that some stores have not removed their potentially troubled lot numbers from the shelves, so please check any Similac powdered formula you have or are purchasing for safety by entering their lot numbers (found on the bottom of the can/container) in the similacrecall.com website. If your infant has any high fevers and lethargy or bloody or profuse diarrhea, please seek medical attention. Again, this risk is very low, but please check your cans and proceed as noted.
