Behavioral Health Summer Camp

FOR: Separate sessions for elementary aged children and middle school aged children.

Come join Mario, Luigi, Peach Yoshi and friends as we battle depression, anxiety, difficult emotions, bullies and frenemies with mindfulness, coping skills, connection, and concrete skills to power up your mental health. The camp will be led by Crystal McCown, LCSW.

New Mom Support Group

from TVP Behavioral Health Services

FOR: Moms of children up to age 2.  Babies are welcome.
MEETS: Virtually on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month 10:00-11:00am
COST: Free

This group, led by Dr. Alina Boelman, focuses on supporting new moms through the transition that happens after baby is born. We address the very practical issues like sleep training, when to start solids, etc while also diving into the complex social and emotional changes that can occur. We also address any questions, and support each other through the crazy maze of parenthood. The 1st Tuesday of the month focuses on Mental Health concerns. The 3rd Tuesday of the month focuses on medical issues or things you want to ask your pediatrician!  Currently this group is hosted virtually through zoom. LEARN MORE

Language Boost for Toddlers

FOR: Parents of toddlers between 15 and 24 months of age, with OR without concern for delayed language.
COST: $300 for 4, 45 minute sessions

Take advantage of the most rapid period of brain growth in your child’s life! These sessions, lead by Natalie Clausen, SLP, are ideal for parents of toddlers between 15 and 24 months of age, with OR without concern for delayed language. Parents are taught strategies to use when interacting with their toddler in order to encourage communication development. This option may be a stand-alone educational/ preventative service or may be a precursor to evaluation and subsequent therapy. Intuitive Eating and More than a Body

Dialectal Behavioral Therapy

FOR: Ages 14-20
MEETS: Wednesdays 6:30pm – 7:30pm

This will be a closed group (meaning each session builds on previous sessions and new clients will have to start and the beginning of one of the five modules. See schedule for more details). DBT is a well researched therapy for interpersonal communication and relationship challenges. We also focus on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. LEARN MORE

Elementary Aged Social-Emotional Skill Building

These sessions are just for parents, guardians, and caregivers of our patients! We will talk about how mental health and behavioral health issues show up in your life and what to do next. We will also have a Q&A portion where you can ask your most pressing issues. If you would like to make sure your question is addressed or given anonymously, please email it to cmccown@tanqueverdepeds.com with Parenting Support Q&A in the subject line prior to the session.
