Tanque Verde Pediatrics Now Offers Mental Health Services
Mental health services are now available at Tanque Verde Pediatrics by our Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Crystal McCown and Lakilia Ahmed. Patients who make use of this service have an option of up to 4-6 sessions with our team. These sessions will be scheduled with Tanque Verde Pediatrics for the amount of time that is appropriate for the services needed.
Our mental health providers will also help find a transitional, more long-term therapist in the community if warranted, while your child is getting acute services here.

Lakilia Ahmed
Lakilia Ahmed is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Buffalo State College, and her Masters in Social Work from Howard University.
Crystal McCown
Crystal McCown is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University, and her graduate degree from the University of Houston.
